Mary Farris seems to have her mommy and daddy's love for animals! She started outpatient therapy last week and he recommended "squeaky shoes" to help with her toe-walking. They only squeak when she puts her heels down and she figured that out right away. They made Ralphie nuts for the first day but he has adapted well. We are working on her upper body strength with an exercise ball and she is doing great with it.
Feeding has been going much better. She had her first happy meal last week and really enjoyed it. She is talking in four-word sentences now. "Hi Ralphie, what doin'?" She repeats everything and now not only can she count but she can do it in Spanish! She can say most of the alphabet and identifies almost all of the letters.
I forgot to mention that we did get approved for Tenncare after our appeal which will mean the world for us to continue with her various therapies and get the surgery she will most likely need in the future. We appreciate all the support and prayers that we have never stopped getting from all of you~
