Mary Farris is loving her ballet class and is participating more every week! Not much to report on feeding. It is turning out to be the biggest challenge we have faced since coming home from the NICU. We are on feeding therapist #3, GI #3, Nutritionist #2 and ENT #2. Starting to wonder if we are just pushing too hard or not hard enough. We are cutting back on formula (by mouth or tube) in the hopes that Mary Farris will make the connection between eating and getting full rather than the tube feeds making her full. Very frustrating. If she doesn't make progress in 6 weeks they are going to scope her in hopes of finding a medical reason she simply refuses to eat. If we exhaust our efforts with Vandy, we are going to try to get her to Cincinnati Children's Aerodigestive clinic for a more intensive evaluation and treatment program. It is so hard to realize she is going to turn 3 next month and we are gaining no ground with this. Thanks for the continued support and prayers~
